Photo Opportunities by Corinne Vionnet

Conducting online keyword searches for monuments, Swiss/French artist Corinne Vionnet culled thousands of tourists’ snapshots for her series Photo Opportunities. Working with a hundred photographs of a single monument, the artist weaves together small sections of the appropriated images to create each layered, ethereal structure.

Very interested series "Following the reindeer" caught my eye because it is very suble combination of portraits, documentary and landscapes, together working as a complete image of hard and sometimes joyful Siberian life.

Half Awake by Erin Tyner

Using small train figures and different household or nature object Erin Tyner create minimalistic dioramas that capture an interesting atmosphere. Figures used instead of real people help us to focus more on the emotional part of the series and I found it very inspiring.

I saw Franziska´s exibition The truth might be right in Dresden gallery bautzner69 and I fell in love with her work almost immediately. Her photographs are usually very simple but contain everything needed. Very open but also very intimate.
